A mega health camp was held on the school premises on 21st of April 2012 under the aegis of ‘Anchal Charitable Trust’ to facilitate better health prospects for the students. As many as 350 students were given free medical check-up for different ailments. Dr. Binod Kumar, renowned physician underlined the importance of balanced diet and proper in-take of Vitamins. Bangalore based physician Dr. Sachin Singh advised the young generation not to take tobacco in any form.
Recently, DAV Public School Ara organised a mega health camp for Japanese Encephalitis Vaccination. The students in the age group of 01 to 15 years were immunized against Japanese Encephalitis. In recent years, this dreaded disease has claimed several lives in some of the localities of Bihar.
